Saturday, September 24th
D214 students will be talking with residents in precincts close to their high schools to give them voting registration and voting dates and locations.
Elected officials have been invited to kick off the events at the High Schools by addressing the students.
Packets of voting information cards for the students to give to residents will be prepared by the LWVAH and printed in English, Polish and Spanish.
Teachers are incorporating these events into their curriculum to explain the importance of being engaged voters.
Lunch will be served to the students after they complete their assigned routes.
