What is this?
Join us for our first Pizza and Politics event this Wednesday, July 7th, from 12:00–1:30 PM at Capannari Ice Cream in Mt. Prospect!
This youth-only (26 and under) event will include an open-style discussion on the issue of racial justice, facilitated by our Emerging Leaders. Ice cream will be provided. Bring your friends and make sure to save the date for this fun opportunity to talk about an issue important to you, meet other like-minded students, and get more involved in League!
Our future Pizza and Politics events are scheduled for July 21st (Melas Park), July 28th (Lake Arlington), and August 21st (Busse Woods). Topics will include environmentalism, mental health for students, and LGBTQIAP+ issues. Each event will have food provided and will finish with an outdoor game like Ultimate Frisbee or Capture the Flag.
