LWV members and Viator House residents will come together to make sandwiches for guests served by Journeys in Palatine—a simple, meaningful way to support our neighbors while connecting civic values to community action.
Volunteer Details
• What: Sandwich-making for Journeys
• Where: Viator House of Hospitality in Des Plaines (register to get address and details)
• Time: Meet at 2:00 p.m.
• When: Saturday, 2/28/26
• Who: LWV members (all are welcome!)
This is a great opportunity if you’ve been looking for a way to do something tangible—no special skills required, just a willingness to show up and help.
