Get ready to help people hear answers from the candidates firsthand on questions about issues!
Your League of Women Voters of AH-MP-BG, including Wheeling, Prospect Heights and Elk Grove Village areas, in partnership with the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, is hosting back to back candidate forums for three local, contested elections in the November 5th General Election:
- IL Representative 53rd District
- IL Senate 27th District
- IL Representative 54th District
We are pleased to once again hold candidate forums in person, together with the AHML. We can come together as a community and DO meaningful things.
All candidates accepted invitations and rules to participate.
Free and Open to the Public Candidate Forums with a nonpartisan atmosphere are at the heart of our mission to Empower Voters. They allow voters to directly research the candidates by hearing firsthand from the candidates. We do need volunteer helping hands, hearts, and minds for quality forums to run efficiently. As always, our volunteers foster a nonpartisan atmosphere at the candidate forums.
