Stroll to the Polls - Elk Grove High School
Saturday, October 1st
- D214 students will be talking with residents in precincts close to their high schools to give them voting registration and voting dates and locations.
- Elected officials have been invited to kick off the events at the High Schools by addressing the students.
- Packets of voting information cards for the students to give to residents will be prepared by the LWVAH and printed in English, Polish and Spanish
- Teachers are incorporating these events into their curriculum to explain the importance of being engaged voters.
- Lunch will be served to the students after they complete their assigned routes.
